Dear FOI Officer for Broxtowe Borough Council

I am writing to make an open government request for all the
information to which I am entitled under the freedom of information
act. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my
query as specifically as possible. If however this request is too
wide or too unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as
I understand that under the act, you are required to advise and
assist requesters.

I would like to find out the number of off licenses in the Broxtowe
borough that are open for 24 hours. I hope it will be possible for
you to supply me with this information.

I understand that under the act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in
writing that you have received this request. I look forward to
hearing from you in the near future.

Dear Chris

Further to your request, I am now able to provide the following
information. 24 hour off-licences has been taken to mean premises open
for the sale of alcohol for 24 hours. There are 4 off-licences with 24
hour licences in Broxtowe although it is not known whether they chose to
utilise these hours.
