Dear FOI Officer for North East Derbyshire District Council
I am writing to make an open government request for all the
information to which I am entitled under the freedom of information
act. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my
query as specifically as possible. If however this request is too
wide or too unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as
I understand that under the act, you are required to advise and
assist requesters.
I would like to find out the number of off licenses in the North
East Derbyshire District that are open for 24 hours. I hope it will
be possible for you to supply me with this information.
I understand that under the act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in
writing that you have received this request. I look forward to
hearing from you in the near future.

Further to my email of 3 November 2009, I am now able to confirm that the
Council does hold the information that you have requested.
There are 3 premises licensed as 24 hour off licences, one of which trades
only online and is not open to the public.
If you disagree with our decision or are otherwise unhappy with how this
response has been dealt with you may invoke the Council's Complaints
Procedure which ensures that a complaint is logged and given a unique
reference number. Details of the scheme can be found on the Council's
website ([1]www.ne-derbyshire.gov.uk)
If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you have the right under
Section 50 of the Freedom of Information Act to appeal against the
