Dear FOI Officer for Kettering Borough Council
I am writing to make an open government request for all the
information to which I am entitled under the freedom of information
act. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my
query as specifically as possible. If however this request is too
wide or too unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as
I understand that under the act, you are required to advise and
assist requesters.
I would like to find out the number of off licenses in the
Kettering Borough that are open for 24 hours. I hope it will be
possible for you to supply me with this information.
I understand that under the act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in
writing that you have received this request. I look forward to
hearing from you in the near future.

Thank you for your email dated 13 October 2009 requesting information under the
above Act, received by Kettering Borough Council on 13 October 2009. You have
requested the following information and I am able to advise you accordingly:
I would like to find out the number of off licenses in the Kettering
Borough that are open for 24 hours.
This information is not held by Kettering Borough Council. The
responsibility for licensing within our borough falls under the remit of
The Northamptonshire Licensing Partnership and I request that you contact
them directly for the information you require. Details may be found under

Please note this is not a refusal notice. The information is not being
provided as it is not held by Kettering Borough Council.
I trust this information is helpful however, if you are unhappy with our

Upon receipt of your complaint, the Council will then conduct a review of
its decision and inform you of the outcome.
