Dear Helen Barbour,
Thank you for responding to my Freedom of Information request.
Please can you confirm that this is the complete, up to date list
of all premises licensed to sell alcohol 24 hours a day (for
consumption off the premises). The reason I ask is because Tesco
Brent Cross (NW2 1LZ) isn't on the list, but they sell alcohol 24
hours a day.
Yours sincerely,
Oliver Jackson

Dear Mr Jackson
Further to your email of 6 October and my reply of 8 October, I can now
advise as follows.
Our Trading Standards & Licensing (TS&L) team have recently moved on to
a new records' system, as the data in the old system did not allow them
to search on such criteria quickly and easily.
On investigation, however, it would appear that some data has not been
correctly migrated to the new system and the TS&L team have identified a
number of premises where the information is partly missing. This
includes the premises you mention, ie Tesco at Brent Cross, which does
indeed have a 24 hour licence and should have been included in the list
supplied.
The TS&L team are now in the process of checking through all the data
that is in the new system for any other errors.
Until this work is completed, we are unable to supply a list that we can
guarantee to be 100% accurate. We expect that this work will be
complete by the end of December 2009. We would, therefore, propose to
forward to you a revised, up-to-date and definitive list, as soon as
this is available.
We trust that this is satisfactory and thank you for bringing this
matter to our attention.
Kind regards
Helen
