Dear Paul
Thank you for your request dated 22 December for information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying.
You asked for:
“On the recent visit to Copenhagen by the First Minister may I ask.
1. How many people in total accompanied the First Minister?
2. What was the total cost of the visit?
3. What was achieved by the visit that couldn't have been completed at home?”
Under section 8(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA), a person making a request for information must state their name. You have given your first name only which means that your request is not a valid request in terms of FOISA and so we are not required to comply with it. If, however, you would like to resubmit your request and provide your surname, your request would then be valid and we would be able to consider it in accordance with FOISA.
Yours sincerely
Gavin Barrie
