Dear William

Re: Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information

I write further to my letter dated 11th February as your Freedom of Information request has now been considered.

You requested the following information:-

  1. Please could you tell me how many free parking spaces are within Camden for Visitors?

Due to the extremely high demand for parking within the borough Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) are in operation borough wide. Within the CPZs kerbside space is subject to parking regulations during the times of control and there will be no free parking spaces available for visitors. Please refer to the following link from our website which provides details of the CPZs.

http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/transport-and-streets/parking/where-to-park/controlled-parking-zones/

Outside of any controlled hours motorists are able to park in permit and pay and display/metered bays without the requirement to pay or hold a permit. In addition, single yellow lines are restricted within CPZ operational hours and outside of these times motorists are permitted to park unless a nearby time plate indicates otherwise.
