Dear Ms Brown

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request that was sent to the Council on 30 October.

Over the last 10 years the Council has sold approximately 600 properties, excluding properties sold under the Right to Buy legislation, which are Council homes sold that are sold to tenants. This has generated approximately £248,479,649 for the Council.

The Council operates the principle of a Single Capital Pot. This means that all capital available to the Council is pooled centrally and allocated to capital projects according to priority and need. Over the years the Council would have invested in varied projects such as schools, roads, dwellings, offices, leisure centres, libraries and a range of other schemes that serve the residents of the Council.

I hope that this response has answered your query.
