MINUTES OF DISCUSSION

The Panel considered the correspondence associated with the request and agreed that the
delays were due to the large volume of information requested and the time taken to retrieve the
information request particularly the LU training docs from L&D. The Panel noted that discussions
have taken place with LU regarding their handling of FOI requests and the situation will be
monitored by IACT to check that improvements are made

In terms of the material exempted the Panel questioned the use of the exemption and asked that
Revenue Protection be asked to provide additional arguments to support the application of s31
which will then be re-assessed by the Panel to determine whether the exemption was applied
correctly.
