Mock court 
 
Mock court session based on the RCI’s statements.  The purpose of this is for the delegates to be 
cross examined as professional witnesses to prepare them for a real court environment. 
 
 
•  Inform the Prosecutions manager of arrival 
•  Remind them of court etiquette even though it’s a mock court 
•  Inform delegates they will be sitting in the Public gallery and no talking, chewing or inappropriate 
behaviour such as laughing etc. 
•  Ask the class to make observations on the witness evidence 
•  At the end, meet with the class and if possible have a feedback session to clarify any points of 
concern or questions they may have
