Penalty fare increases 
on 11 January 2009
£50
The penalty fare goes up to £50 on all bus, 
Tube, London Overground, Tramlink and  
Docklands Light Railway services. This will be 
reduced to £25 if  you pay within 21 days.
If you travel without a valid ticket for the whole of your journey, or a validated 
Oyster card, you may be issued with a penalty fare. If you are issued with a 
penalty fare you wil  be required to provide your name and address.
