Request for information
In your email of 6 December you asked a number of detailed questions about our databases, and gave some reasons for wanting the information. I replied on 14 December, but you requested an internal review on the same day. Since then we have had a number of telephone conversations about this request, and I have apologised for the delay in responding. I am now able to send you the schema information we hold in relation to our computerised record keeping system for complaints; a system we call Comtrac.
I am sending three files with this letter, two are in Word and one is in Excel. I hope this gives you the information you require.
That concludes my response and I hope that this brings this matter to a close. I apologise again for the delay in responding.
You have the right to apply to the Information Commissioner to determine whether your request has been properly dealt with. You should note however that the Commissioner will not consider any complaint where you have not first exhausted our internal complaints process or where there has been undue delay in contacting him.
