Your request for information received on 5 December 2009 has now been considered, and, pursuant to your rights under section 1(1)(a) of Freedom of Information Act 2000 to be informed whether information is held, this letter is to formally advise you that we do not hold the requested information.

Your request is for copies of the accounts for the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) for each of the last five years. I can advise that there are no separate accounts for the CRU either at a central or local level within our institution. The CRU is part of the School of Environmental Sciences, and not a separate legal entity. We only publish accounts at a University level and these are readily available on our website.
