Dear Dr Bevan

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST

Thank you for your e-mail of 30 November in which you ask for information about cost information for the ID launch event at the Manchester Printworks. Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You asked:-

a) the total cost of the event;

The total cost of the event was £500.

b) a detailed breakdown of the costs, including the amount paid to each company.

£500 was paid to Pure, for the use of a meeting room for a stakeholder engagement event and the provision of a sandwich lunch.

c) how many people applied for enrolment on the National Identity Register on that day.

It is not clear, from your email, exactly what information you require. To help us to deal with your request properly, I would be grateful if you could clarify it. From your request it is not clear whether you are asking for the number that enrolled on that day in general, or the number that enrolled on that day specifically at the launch event.
