request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act. 
 
Your request: Salary Statistics by Gender 
 
Our Response 
 
Northamptonshire County Council will be able to provide information on the year 2008/09.  
Unfortunately we will not be able to provide figures for 2004/05 as this relies on reports we 
obtained from the previous payroll provider which did not contain salary details.  
 
 However it is possible to provide information for the year 2005/06 as we can do this from 
existing reports which we have from our current payroll provider. 
 
Can you please confirm that this information would be acceptable to you 
 
Please note that your request will be suspended until clarification has been received and 
the Council will then have a further 20 working days to respond to your request.
