I write in connection with your request received by Kent Police on 30th November 2009 in which 
you requested the following information: 
 
Process and procedures for transactions or gifts between Kent Police and civilians.  
 
Full details of the process and procedures in place in relation to transactions and gifts between 
staff employed by Kent Police and members of the public or other parties can be found in the 
Kent Police policy reference I23 titled â€˜Gifts and Hospitality’ which can be found on the Kent 
Police website. The website can be accessed using the following link www.kent.police.uk and 
the policy can be located using the search term â€˜gifts and hospitality’.  
 
A full list of gifts and hospitality received by Kent Police staff in each calendar year is regularly 
published as part of the Kent Police publication scheme.
