Dear Mr. Rymer

I am writing in response to your email request for information, which was received on 28 January 2010.

Under the Freedom of Information Act you asked:

Please could you tell me why when I was on new deal 13 weeks course I only did 11weeks (I had 1 week off sick) A4e phoned my adviser (Alison Lilly) up at Southport Jobcenter and told her I was finished at A4e on Friday Alison said no he has 1 more week left. A4e said to me they would go over Southport JCP head they phoned someone in Liverpool and I finished on the Friday 1 week short of the 13 week course?

Section 40 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act states that `Any information to which a request for information relates is exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject'. On these grounds we will not be responding your request on a public website.

However, if you still require your request answering please either email the address shown at the top of this letter or write to the District Manager at Merseyside District Office, Jobcentre Plus, Jupiter Drive, Chester, CH70 8BS who will then answer your query.
