Dear Mr Fitsall,

In your recent report entitled Motorcycle Charging Scheme – Objections to the Making of Permanent Traffic Orders of October 1st 2009 (available at http://www3.westminster.gov.uk/committee/index.cfm?c_docs=Cabinet%20Member%20Decisions/City%20Management/2009/18%20-%20Motorcyle%20Charging%20Scheme%20-%20Objections%20to%20the%20Making%20of%20Permanent%20Traffic%20Orders), you incorrectly stated in paragraph 4.9 that the British Motorcyclists Federation was consulted and that there were no objections (amongst many other errors).  Please can you remove this statement immediately.  The BMF has objected, is objecting and continues to object to this scheme.  I’d have thought this was self evident. But apparently not.  I’m sure I will have opportunity at another date to correct the other multiple errors.

Yours,

Chris Hodder
