Dear Mr Yeo

Thank you for your email of 21 November 2009 in which you requested clarification of the UK Border Agency's policy on removal while the person concerned is pursuing family proceedings relating to children. This falls to be dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we are required to respond to requests within twenty working days of receipt. Unfortunately, we have been unable to meet this timescale.
