Dear Mrs Brown,

I write to clarify the situation with regards to your Freedom of Information request that you made to West Yorkshire Police on 19/11/09. You requested the following information:

I would like to know how many sex offenders currently reside in the Wakefield district.

Question 2

Can I please have this broken down by each locality as below?:

How does this compare to 2008?

Question 4

How many of each of these offenders are in each category (High, Medium, Low risk)?

Due to the high levels of requests we are currently dealing with we anticipate that we will be unable to respond to your request within 20 working days. I would like to apologise in advance for the delay in responding to your request. Please be assured that we will endeavour to send a response out to you as soon as possible.

Further to this we would be grateful if you could inform us by your preferred method (contact details as above) if you still require a response to your request for information. If we do not hear from you within twenty working days from the date of this letter then we will assume that you no longer require the information that you have requested.
