Request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

I refer to your email of 11 November 2009, requesting that the following information be provided to you:

Could you please give me a full list of liquid assest(cash) that Glasgow council have sitting idle? I would also like to know which banks it is kept in, and how much interest has been made from these assets?

The Council is treating your request as a request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

The Treasury Management Annual Report 2008/09 and 2009/10 Update was submitted to the Finance and Audit Scrutiny Committee of Wednesday 2 December 2009. A copy of the report can be downloaded from the Council's website. Further information on the financial performance of the Council can be found in The Glasgow City Council Financial Statement for the Year Ended 31 March 2009, which is also available on the Council's website.

If you are dissatisfied with the way Glasgow City Council has dealt with your request you are entitled to require the Council to review its decision. Please note that for a review to take place you must:
