FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 INFORMATION REQUEST 2841
Further to your request dated 4th November 2009, we have now considered your request for information which has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I set out below the Council's response to your request.
Please note: we do not hold accurate information on compromise agreement dating back to September 2004. The following is information from 1 January 2006 onwards:
1. 14 teachers and no head teachers have signed a compromise agreement since January 2006.
2. Of these, 10 resulted in the termination of the teacher's employment with the council.
3. Of these 14 teachers; 4 had between 0-5 years' service; 8 between 5-10 years' service and 2 between 15-20 years' service.
4. Of the 10 teachers who left the council's employment 1 was under 30 years of age; 4 were between 30-39 years of age; 2 were between 40-49 years of age; 2 were between 50 and 59 years of age; and 1 was over 60.
