FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST
Thank you for your request for information, which was received by email today. I have sent the following request to the service area:
Under the provisions of the above Act please provide response to the following questions:
How many teachers, and Head Teachers have:
Signed a compromise agreement since September 2004.
How many of these resulted in the termination of their employment with yourselves, the council.
How long they had been working for the Educational Service in your Council.
How old they were on their day of leaving.
If I have not understood your request correctly please let me know as soon as possible, there will be no charge to this request.
Your request is being considered and you will receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third party.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 defines a number of exemptions that will prevent the release of information. We will assess the information you have requested to determine if any of the exemption categories apply. If an exemption applies some or all of the information you have requested may not be released.
If the information you request contains reference to a third party then they may be consulted prior to a decision being taken to release the information to you.
There may be a fee payable for this information. If this is the case you will be informed prior to any work commencing on your behalf. The 20 working day time limit for responses is suspended until receipt of the payment.
