Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA)

Your request is

I would like statistics regarding the number of Rape cases in

Nottinghamshire from 2004-2009.

Under S 1 (3) (a) of the FOIA, I require clarification of your request.

Under S 1 (3) of the FOIA -

“Where a public authority -

  1. reasonably requires further information in order to identify and locate the information requested, and

  2. has informed the applicant of that requirement,

Please clarify if your request refers to the number of reported incidents of rape or the number of rapes crimed.

Nottinghamshire Police is not required to comply with your request until further information has been supplied. Therefore the 20 working days has stopped until sufficient information has been received.
