I write in connection with your request for information dated 30th October 2009, which was received by Nottinghamshire Police on 30th October 2009, and acknowledged by e-mail on 30th October 2009. I note you seek access to the following information:-
I am requesting the following, all separated by year, from the
years 2000 - 2009:
1. The number of domestic violence cases reported to you.
2. The number of these allegations which were made by women, and
similarly the number that were made by men.
3. How many of these allegations led to a conviction.
4. How many of these convictions were of men, and how many of
women.
Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within Nottinghamshire Police to locate information relevant to your request.
