Sefton Council's Members' Allowances 2007 - 2008
In accordance with the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003, Members of the Council are entitled to certain allowances and expenses. The attached schedule shows amounts paid to each Member for the year 2007- 2008.
The Special Responsibility (SRA) and Basic Allowances are shown as gross amounts, but the allowances are subject to Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions, and therefore Members receive a net amount.
Please Note Councillor Les Byrom is the North West Conservative Group Leader on the North West Regional Assembly and the Special Responsibility Allowance for this office is reimbursed by the North West Regional Assembly.
