Dear Catharine MacArthur

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - APPLICATION FOR INTERNAL REVIEW - Information on number of compromise agreements that have been signed by teachers and head teachers with a result of these members of staff loosing or leaving their jobs since September 2004

I refer to our acknowledgement reply dated 4 December 2009.

The panel met today and gave consideration to your application for a review of the processing of your initial request for information.

The Panel noted with regret that the Children Schools and Families (CSF) directorate, in conjunction with the Council's Human Resources, has failed to process your initial request within the statutory deadlines.

The panel has therefore advised the lead directorate (CSF) that it must now process your request and supply you with a response by no later than 5 January 2010. The Panel will meet again on 5 January 2010 and has asked to receive a copy of the reply that is sent to you by the CSF.

If you are not satisfied with the manner in which your appeal was handled you should contact the Information Commissioner within two months of receiving this letter. The Information Commissioner will not consider complaints outside of this timeframe, except under exceptional circumstances.

If you are still not satisfied following the Internal Review, you have a right to appeal to the Information Commissioner's Office. They can be contacted at: Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire. SK9 5AF.
