Mr D Johnston
Dear Mr Johnston,
Freedom of Information Act - Request for Information
Our Reference: FOI 2163
I am writing to confirm that I am now in a position to reply to your request for information which we received on the 23rd October 2009. I apologise for the delay in my response, but I wanted to ensure I gave your response my full consideration.
In this request you specifically ask for a list of Flexible New Deal (FND) phase 1 sub-contractors broken down by the contract or provider to which they are providing their services. You also asked for the Department's plans for publishing FND performance.
I have attached a list of proposed sub-contractors for FND phase 1 at annex 1 to this letter.
Please note that the listed sub-contractors were proposed by the successful providers and the lists are not definitive. The Department's commercial relationship is with the prime contractor, and sub-contract arrangements may change throughout the life of a contract. Any arrangements that may be made will of course be a commercial matter between the organisations involved. DWP will however require evidence that all potential partners and sub-contractors are aware of their roles and that they have agreed the proposed arrangements.
Flexible New Deal performance information will be made available on the DWP website from September 2010 following the completion of the FND competition.
If you have any queries about this letter please contact me quoting the reference number above.
Yours sincerely,
DWP Central FoI Team
