Dear Mr Price

I refer to your Freedom of Information request of 29 October 2009 and the response from Ms Pook on 25 November. In your email of 5 February you commented that you did not believe the set of figures provided by Ms Pook as they were significantly different from figures provided by Ms Pook on 27 October in her response to an earlier request of 15 October.

Ms Pook apologised to you that the information provided in her 27 October letter was incorrect. A number of mistakes had been made in the calculation for reasons set out in Ms Pook's 25 November letter. She enclosed a schedule setting out the correct position.

I note that you say you do not find the second set of figures believable. I can confirm that these figures are correct and I repeat Ms Pook's apology for the Commission providing incorrect figures to you in the earlier letter. I reject your assertion that the figures have been deliberately manipulated.

I apologise for my delay in considering your appeal. This review concludes the Commission's response on this matter. You have the right to apply to the ICO to determine whether your requests have been property dealt with (www.ico.gov.uk).
