Dear Mr Ormerod

Freedom of Information request – RFI20091487

Thank you for your email of 26 October seeking the following information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (“the Act”);

Copies of all emails sent from '@bbc.co.uk' email addresses of BBC’s General Counsel, Regulatory
Legal staff and the Information Policy and Compliance team to Christopher Graham, Information
Commissioner, and all emails received by '@bbc.co.uk' email addresses from Christopher Graham,
Information Commissioner to those same BBC staff.

The reference number for your request is RFI20091487.

All staff in the areas of the BBC’s legal department detailed above have searched their email records
and have taken all reasonable steps to locate the information you seek but have not been able to do
so.  So far as we are able to determine the BBC does not hold the information you have requested.

You may however be interested in the two attached emails.  The first is an invitation sent on behalf of
Christopher Graham to James Leaton Gray, Head of Information Policy and Compliance, to attend
the launch of The Guide to Data Protection.  The second is Mr James Leaton Gray’s acceptance
email.  These do not meet your request criteria, but we are happy to volunteer them for your
convenience.
