I write following our acknowledgement letter, date 25 November 2009, reference FOI/2009/0515/COM-ACK.

In response to your Internal Review request (email 20 November 2009) please see below for our response:

Our response to your Freedom of Information request was issued on 26 November 2009 which meant we exceeded the statutory deadline of 6 November 2009. We therefore uphold your complaint the statutory deadline was exceeded. We apologise for this and are constantly reviewing our procedures to try and improve on performance, in recent months we have received a much higher than average volume of requests which has contributed to this delay. We trust that since you have received a full disclosure you are satisfied we have now fulfilled your request.
