review of the time taken to respond to your Freedom of Information request 
about protests and protesters at the BT AGM held on 16 July 2008. 
 
I have consulted with the policy unit which dealt with your original request, 
and they have confirmed that a response was sent to you on  21 October 
2009, which was within the prescribed 20 day limit.   As you appear not to 
have received this response, a copy is attached at Annex A.

Thank you for your e-mail of 8th October 2009 requesting information in light 
of Baroness Mil er’s recent question in which she asked; 
 
To ask Her Majesty's Government further to the remarks by Lord West of 
Spithead on 23 April (HL Deb, col. 1672), when he wil  write concerning the 
review of a Home Office document by a private company with commercial 
interests in the advice under consideration and the decision by the 
Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform to give 
confidential police information regarding a protest to a private company with 
commercial interests in the matter." 
 
In relation to this question you requested the following disclosure of 
information; 
 
• The disclosure of correspondence between BERR/BIS and  British 
Telecom, and BERR/BIS and Phorm, concerning protests and 
protesters at the BT AGM (held on 16 July 2008) 
 â€˘ The disclosure any correspondence between BERR/BIS and British 
Telecom, and BERR/BIS and Phorm, concerning protests and 
protesters at the BT AGM (held on 15 July 2009) 
  â€˘ The disclosure of what personal information about protesters was 
provided to companies concerned, and what information was received. 
 

After a thorough search, I regret to inform you that the Home Office does not 
hold the information that you have requested.
