Dear Ms Stewart
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST
I write in connection with your request for information dated 7 November 2009 and detailed below:-
Under freedom of Information I now make a further request. Has Julier Trixi undergone any Common Purpose training? Also, how much has been spent, from Tax payers money on such training?
Please note that any information disclosed in response to a Freedom of Information request is not just released to the applicant, but in effect it is released into the public domain and as such can be accessed by any person who may request it.
Your request has now been considered and I can advise you that I am not obliged to confirm or deny whether the information you seek is held by virtue of section 40(5) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This is on the basis that, if held, the information would constitute personal data and would be exempt under section 40(2) of the Act. However, with respect to this particular request, I am prepared to give my consent to the release of my own personal information in this specific case, thus providing an exemption to the first principle of the Data Protection Act. I can inform you that I have not undergone any Common Purpose training. With reference to the second part of your request, concerning how much has been spent on such training, please refer to our response to your previous request sent out on the 9 October 2009.
