FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST

I write in connection with your request for information dated 25 September 2009, and thank you for the clarification concerning your name which was received on 22 October 2009, with respect to the below request:-

How many individuals have reported treason and sedition reports of crime, Edward Heath Government onwards, to Cumbria Constabulary?

Your request has now been considered and I can advise that Cumbria Constabulary retains crime information for a period of ten years and so cannot provide information prior to this.

There have been no recorded crimes of Sedition or Treason within Cumbria in the last ten years.
