Thank you for your email enquiry dated 19 August 2008. I am treating your request
under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
2. You requested information on the following question:
are all government projects expected to be reported separately on
departments’ annual accounts?
3. The Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) sets out the accounting
and disclosure requirements for the departments’ annual accounts. You can access
this manual at: www.financial-reporting.gov.uk. It includes no requirement to report
project costs separately.
