Birmingham has scored its performance against National Indicator 35 since 2007-2008. The table below shows performance for the past 2 years, against the 4 criteria.

Achieving a higher score against NI 35 is the objective of Birmingham City Council. Based on the 2007-2008 independent evaluation placing Birmingham at 2.5, targets have been set as:

      1. 3 by the end of 2009 - 2010

      2. 4 by the end of 2010 - 2011
