Dear Sir or Madam,
Please supply the ACPO ANPR strategy document which sets out ANPR
policy up until 2010.
A Guardian newspaper report 15/8/08 'Fears over privacy as police
expand surveillance project'* said that this document had been
obtained under the Freedom of Information Act but the strategy does
not appear to be on the ACPO website.
The Guardian article says: 'The document, which sets policy up
until 2010, states that police forces should "fully and
strategically exploit" the database.'
Yours faithfully,
Marie Koenigsberger
