As discussed earlier, attached is a formal letter for Mr AI-Megrahi. I will send a copy by post too.
I have spoken to Mr Jelban (Libyan Embassy) to inform him. and Will copy him the letter.
I clarified with Mr Jelban that representatives from the Libyan Government should be 2 - 3 maximum. He is going to
confirm with Mr AI-Megrahi who is to attend.
Once I have names, I will let you know.
From our side it will be:
Mr Kenny MacASkill MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Justice Robert Gordon, Director General Justice and Communities
Linda Miller, Criminal Law and Licensing.
We don't know yet which car wiII be used - but I will get the details to you as soon as I have them.
