Dear Mr Starky,
I am writing to you about your request for information dated 12/08/08 where you have requested the `the number of job vacancies that were externally advertised by the department broken down between April 07 to April 08 and between 1st April 2008 to 30th June 2008'.
I am pleased to provide some of the information requested. Please find below figures relating to the Youth Justice Agency and Northern Ireland Prison Service which are executive agencies of the Northern Ireland Office (NIO);

This represents all of the information held by the Northern Ireland Office on this subject. The remainder of the information requested is not held by the NIO as the Department of Finance and Personnel and more recently HR Connect carry out the majority of external recruitment campaigns centrally on behalf of the NIO and the Northern Ireland departments.
