Dear Mr Starky
Thank you for your enquiry for information of 12 August 2008 made under the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. You asked for the number of job
vacancies that were externally advertised by Fisheries Research Services (FRS) , and
broken down between April 2007 to April 2008 and between 1st April 2008 to 30th June
2008. I can confirm that we hold this information, and have summarised it below:
01.04.2007 – 31.03.2008 -- FRS issued 25 external adverts for 30 posts (NB some were
multiples for example, two receptionist posts, two Fish Health Inspectors, etc).
01.04.2008 – 03.06.2008 -- FRS has advertised eight posts. (NB of these, two were
advertised twice, which obviously means there have been only six posts).
I hope this information has been of help to you.
