I am writing to request a listing of all The Chancellor's expenses 
broken  down  by  claim  and/or  receipt  for  the  previous  12  months 
_ 
up until this request is answered. Where such expenses include 
hospitality, accommodation etc your response should include 
details of the establishment at which such expense was incurred.

The  Chancellor  has  not  submitted  any  expense  claims  in  the  last  12  months. 
The  catering  and  transport  for  events  hosted  or  attended  by  the  Chancellor, 
including receptions, dinners and lectures, have been provided or paid for direct 
by the collegiate University. For example, he makes use of the University car for 
events  in  Oxford.  (This  car  is  available  to  other  senior  members  of  the 
University.)  During  the  last  12  months,  he  went  on  five  overseas  trips  that 
included  University  events,  in  addition  to  other  unrelated  business.  The  cost  of 
these  international  flights  was  met  by  other  organisations  or  the  Chancellor 
himself.
