Thank you for your request for emails regarding Derek Canning and Mark Robb which we 
received on 18 August.  
 
Following careful consideration, we have decided not to disclose this information.  The 
information you have requested is being withheld as it falls under the exemption in section 
40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which relates to personal data relating to 
third parties.  The information you have requested consists of the personal data of third 
parties and disclosure of this information would breach the first data protection principle in 
Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998.  Accordingly, the information is exempt from 
disclosure under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act.
