Dear Mr Hensby

Freedom of information request

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”) dated 14 August 2009.
The reference number for your request is RFI20091216.

You requested:

“What are the BBC's plans on integrating XML Atom 1.0 feeds to the news section of the BBC website? Is
it a future plan or has the idea been dismissed?

Please disclose information on all meetings and correspondence regarding this subject, including dates,
attendees and agendas.”

We can confirm that we do not hold the information requested. We have not met to discuss integrating
Atom feeds to bbc.co.uk/news and have no planned work to develop them; however, we equally have not
discounted adopting them at some future point.

We hope you find this information useful.
