Dear Mr Hawkes, 
 
In answer to your query under the Freedom of Information Act, as  clarified 
by our subsequent correspondence, I can supply the following information, 
which relates to our Midlands Region only. 
 
1)  Total number of flood storage areas, including both those that fall 
under the Reservoirs Act and those that do not,  is  35. 
2)  The number of these where the overtopping spillway is restricted is 5. 
3)  The number where the spillway restriction could cause flooding to 
property upstream is 0.
