Response to FOI 1609: Search tool query

Thank you for your response to the above FOI request for information regarding the Job Search function on the Directgov website. In your response you stated that the distance, as part of the `refine your search' function, is still being ignored.

The search facility allows job vacancies to be searched via location and these results can be filtered using the `refine your search' function. Altering the search radius setting to a specified distance will cause the jobs located within that distance to be listed first. It will then list all other jobs which satisfy the search criteria, though these jobs will not be listed in order of distance from the initial search area.
