Dear Mr Burke, |

I refer to your request for an internal review of the handling of your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Having looked into this request and the response provided I can see no grounds for complaint. In summary:
The response was on time,
The fact that requests for your own personal data are covered by the Data Protection Act, via a `Subject Access Request', and not via the Freedom of Information Act was fully explained to you,
Relevant guidance from the Information Commissioner on this subject was attached for further clarification,
Further assistance was offered via phone if needed,
It was correctly explained that the information required was held by schools and that they are separate data controllers under the Data Protection Act,
An offer was made to forward your request on to the relevant schools,
Details of how to progress your subject access request under the Data Protection Act and what to expect was provided.
