Dear Mr Corbin,

Re: Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Thank you for your email dated 10th of August 2009, in which you sought information relating to the following from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ);

“Information regarding the Ministry of Justice knowledge and involvement in The National Archives proposal to phase out The Office of Public Sector Information and the OPSI brand, the impact that the proposed actions will have on the UK's policy and implementation with respect to the re-use of public sector information (Statutory Instrument 2005 No. 1515 - the UK transposition of the EU Directive 2003/98/EC)”

Firstly may I apologise for the unacceptable delay in responding to your request. Your request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). After an extensive search of our records I can confirm the MoJ does not hold information related to your request.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely
