Seven questions about Electively Home Educated children.

The information below has been supplied in response to your request for the

above mentioned information. We hope the information supplied satisfies your original request.

Thurrock currently has 68 cases registered as EHE.

With reference to questions A,B,C&E, we do not keep data that would enable us to respond to these questions.

D) We do not have any Education Supervision Orders in court for this population.

F) Thurrock's Education Welfare Service have access to the Thurrock Children's Social Care database. Referrals to EWS are cross referenced to this database.

If you are unhappy with the Council's response you can make a complaint via the

Council's complaints procedures and this will be looked into. If you are not happy with

this decision you may then appeal to the Information Commissioner.
