Dear Mr. Main,
Thank you for your email dated the 14th August 2009 in which you requested an Internal
Review into your Freedom of Information Act request concerning correspondence
between 121Media/Phorm and the Home Office. My apologies for not contacting you
about this review before now.
I have been allocated your request for an Internal Review as an independent official of
the Home Office who was not involved in answering your original request.
Whilst the Home Office aims to complete Internal Reviews and provide a response
within 40 working days from the date we received your request, the review process has
been taking longer than anticipated. I write today to inform you that I am in the process
of finalising our response to you and that this response wil be approved of the coming
weeks and I hope to be able to send this to you no later than the 4th December 2009.
I apologise for this delay and hope that it has not inconvenienced you unduly. If you
have any queries regarding the handling of this internal review, then please do not
