Firstly please accept our apologies for the delay in responding to your request.

In response to your request regarding change of use from A1 (shop) under the Town & Country Planning order 1987 for the last 5 years. Please find detailed below Northampton Borough Council's response in point turn.

  1. The Council has received 166 planning applications, which feature a change of use from A1.

  2. 7 of the above were retrospective.

  3. The Council has not received any applications from Starbucks for change of use from A1.

If you consider the Council has not provided the information you have requested you have the right to challenge that decision in respect of your information request within 6 months.
