To date 4 fixed penalties have been issued this financial year. The Assembly Member is interested in the number of fixed penalty notices that have been issued for dog fouling for each of the last three financial years including 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09. A similar request was previously submitted last year, where you submitted the following figures: * 33 fixed penalty notices for dog fouling in 2006-07 * 21 fixed penalty notices for dog fouling in 2007-08 Please could you confirm whether these figures shown above for 2006-07 and 2007-08 are correct (or supply the correct relevant figures for these years) as well as provide me with your latest figure for 2008-09 so that I may provide an update for the Assembly Member. I would be grateful of your response by Tuesday 30 June 2009, but if there are any problems with this deadline or you feel unable to respond, perhaps the person dealing with the enquiry could let me know.
